The students created a comprehensive presentation and final project which addresses how to manage stress amidst life transitions. They focused on promoting skills around cognitive restructuring and mindfulness which provided them a deeper understanding of coping strategies to reduce stress. The students were professional and communicative during the process and it was evident that they were interested in learning more!

It was a great experience; the programme was set up very well and supported throughout, with the university being involved at every point. The student team were fully involved and worked hard on our challenge to see if they could come up with some solutions.

This was an excellent opportunity to work with a very bright group of students in pursuing a report from the research into Barriers in Housing for Urban Indigenous populations. I have been using the report as background information on decisions we are making for the design of our future apartment project for our Indigenous Partners so it has been a very fruitful relationship I had with MacEwan University students and their work.
