


Small Towns of Canada - Phase 2 | Digital Content for 1000towns.ca
Number of individual students required: 25 students, any Province or Territory, Canada 1000 Towns of Canada 1000towns.ca is a digital platform connecting travellers and small town communities. In Phase 2, we want students to create content about the next groups of small Canadian towns. It will be focused mostly on Quebec, Saskatchewan, northern Ontario and the Atlantic provinces. With students' help, we launched more than 260 town pages on 1000towns.ca. To clarify the format, you can check existing pages (blue leaves on the map). To complete the project, we expect the student(s) will: Choose ten small towns Write a short description of each attraction (8-12 attractions for each town) 'Communicate with local communities for feedback After approval of the 1000 Towns of Canada team, the final content will be published as unique town pages on 1000towns.ca with the student's name as a creator. General Purpose: Preparation of materials and completion of specific projects, while ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. Newsletter Development
Our organization is passionate about promoting social causes. We want to increase awareness about a particular topic. We would like to collaborate with students to develop and distribute a newsletter promoting our cause. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Brainstorming topics for each issue. Stay updated on past, present and future programs and events Creating materials to be published and making revisions based on feedback. Proofreading drafts of newsletters and recommending areas for improvement. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Recommending other ways to increase awareness about our cause.

Create and Design Play Forever's Annual Report
The main goal of this project is to create and design Play Forever's Annual Report. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: - Researching Play Forever's mission, goals, and programs. - Designing the layout and content of the Annual Report. - Creating visuals to illustrate Play Forever's impact. - Writing content for the Annual Report. - Editing and proofreading the content. - Finalizing the design and layout of the Annual Report.

The main goal for the project is to create engaging and informative videos for the Play Forever programs that will help in promoting the organization's services and activities. The videos should showcase the various recreational, educational, and mental health services offered to the youth of Toronto, Ontario, with a focus on marginalized communities and low-income families. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: - Researching and understanding the different programs and services offered by Play Forever. - Developing a storyboard and script for the videos. - Filming and editing the videos to ensure high-quality production. - Incorporating feedback from the organization to align with their vision and mission. - Creating promotional material to accompany the videos for distribution.

Photography Assets for Play Forever Organization
The main goal for the project is to create high-quality photography assets that showcase the various programs and services offered by Play Forever. This will involve capturing images of the youth participants engaging in recreational activities, educational programs, and mental health services. The photos should highlight the impact of the organization on the youth and the community.

Digital Marketing
Our company runs an online platform. We have developed a set of marketing strategies, but it has been challenging to implement them. We would like to collaborate with students to review and post content promoting our company and our products. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our target market, products and services. Reviewing marketing content in the form of posts, emails, brochures, etc. Deploying content according to our social media calendar to increase website traffic. Overseeing our channels and keeping them up-to-date. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Recommending search engine optimization (SEO) strategies so our materials are easily accessible.

Green Career Development Project
The Green Career Centre’s mission is to prepare underrepresented youth for green careers. With a focus on supporting BIPOC, newcomers and women, the Green Career Centre works by and for these communities to bridge the gap between equitable, accessible and transparent social and environmental employment opportunities. With a climate justice lens and through ongoing consultations and focus groups, the Green Career Centre bridges the disconnect between these underserved communities and green careers in sustainability. We offer resources, events, and a strong network of support in order to integrate underserved communities into the green labour market in what is currently Canada.
