Details

We are looking for a developer who will work with Pixels to Players to create a platform to collect player information during game testing. Our goal is to establish a centralized and scalable playtesting program for development teams to do by remote. This includes video recording and audio transcription, form submissions, scoring assessments and data-base management.

This is a continuation of an Alpha version created earlier this year. This project will include working on the final features with a thorough UX/UI polish on the site.

A technical document is available with additional information including links: to access the source code, to access the database and RESTful API documentation.

Candidates should be familiar with Vue, Javascript, HTML and Firebase. Repository is Github.

Deliverables

The successful candidate will:

  • prototype workflow in Figma using UI style features, proper workflow and UX design principles (candidates will be given access to Figma Team Project)
  • author customer User Story that addresses game testing sessions (templates provided) // User Stories written and submitted via Google Docs or Word
  • identify appropriate candidates to A/B Test workflows for authentic customer feedback
  • write and upload source code features to the GitHub repository under an MIT License
  • follow developer workflow as outlined in our Project Readme (eg. QA branching, Push/Pull Requests)
