Humanities+ Program Placements
Humanities+ is seeking employers from various sectors to host 200-hour+ SUMMER internships for our students. PLEASE NOTE: Internships MUST either be PAID (at least min.wage / Level UP) or take place within a non-profit organization. Unfortunately, any other unpaid opportunities cannot be considered at this time. Benefits: Wage subsidies – Employer partners may be eligible for a Magnet SWPP wage subsidy (50% - 70% of the student’s wage.) Talent recruitment – Interns have received 50+ hours of training in digital skills and professional skills. Uniquely valuable employees - Our impassioned interns have unique and skill sets. They are driven, insightful, and imaginative, and will bring NEW ideas to the challenges your team faces. Work-integrated Learning in UX
Our program adopts a practical and comprehensive approach to UX education, ensuring that our students have a strong foundation in the field. While they continue to refine their skills throughout the program, they will be well-prepared to contribute effectively to your organization. Here is an overview of our program's focus: 1. Overview of UX phases : Our students delve into every facet of the UX design process, immersing themselves in user research, ideation, prototyping, testing, and implementation. Application of UX Tools, including Figma: Our curriculum emphasizes the practical application of UX-related tools and methodologies. Students will have hands-on experience with tools like Figma and Miro. 3. Business Communication: Analyzing your external communications

In this course, students learn the principles and techniques of clear, concise and effective written and oral communication, as well as technology concerns as it impacts on external communication in the profit and non-profit sectors. Most importantly, our students can review your company's best practices -- whether you are a young start-up, a small family-owned business or a medium-sized company -- to see if you can do better to communicate to the external world in a global economy. In effect, our students can help your organization increase its market reach by reviewing your company's external communication.
