Third-year students enrolled in Loyalist College's Honours Bachelor of Science in Nursing program are ready to collaborate with employers like you to tackle real-world challenges in community and population health nursing. Through our Clinical Practicum: Community And Population Health Nursing course, students delve into the complexities of health disparities and practice culturally sensitive, collaborative care to achieve equitable health outcomes. By participating in this experience, you'll have the opportunity to engage with dedicated learners who are eager to apply their knowledge and skills to meaningful projects. We aim to foster interdisciplinary partnerships and promote evidence-informed approaches to address pressing health issues. This is a 13-week, 1-term course. Students have Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from September 4th - December 4th (exclusive of October 21-27) to complete the project, with the final project due within the last 2 weeks of the course. Students are to complete 12 hours of work related to the project weekly. Students are assigned a clinical advisor to assist students through the project.

Learners in the "AI for Smarter Cyber-Security" course will develop strong foundational knowledge in both AI and cybersecurity, with the ability to apply machine learning algorithms to solve real-world cybersecurity problems. They will gain proficiency in Python for developing AI-based security solutions, evaluate ethical and legal implications, and enhance their problem-solving, research, and communication skills through hands-on experience and practical projects.
