Digital Human Library (dHL) is looking for an individual(s) to conduct research about the education and/or public library markets, source and record contract information for educational institutions and/or public libraries in the dHL database, and lead outreach activities to build awareness about dHL's services. This position will help students develop their online research skills, communication and collaboration skills, digital literacy skills, technology skills, and global competencies. Website Updates - Improving Google Analytics for Digital Human Library
Digital Human Library seeks to enhance their Google Analytics (G4) tracking capabilities to better understand user interactions across different domains. The current setup provides some insights, but there is a need for more detailed tracking to refine service offerings and deliver tailored information to customers. The project aims to implement new tracking code within the website backend , and then configure and optimize Google Analytics to capture comprehensive data, enabling the company to make informed decisions based on user behaviour. By improving tracking accuracy and granularity, Digital Human Library can identify trends, measure engagement, and evaluate the effectiveness of its digital resources. This project will allow learners to apply their knowledge of web development, analytics, data interpretation, and digital marketing strategies in a real-world context.
PHASE 2 - K-12 Education Virtual Tours & Virtual Reality Database Project
Digital Human Library (dHL) is looking for an individual or class to collaborate with our team to complete our Phase 2 our of Project. PHASE 2: Research new virtual tours and virtual reality experiences based on the criteria provided to grow our library of virtual content and create new learning opportunities for K-12 students.
Digital Human Library Mobile App Development
The Digital Human Library aims to enhance its accessibility and user experience by converting its existing website into a mobile app. This project involves using the Natively platform to create a seamless mobile application that retains the core functionalities of the website while leveraging native mobile features. The goal is to ensure that users can access the Digital Human Library's resources conveniently on their mobile devices. The project will require testing key functionalities such as push notifications, in-app purchases, location services, and universal links to ensure they work effectively in the mobile environment. By the end of the project, the app should be ready for publication on both the App Store and Google Play, expanding the library's reach and engagement with its audience.
