We have created a web-based game simulating real-life situations and we need students to test the solutions and to test the functions and features of the game. The student must have taken ACCT 322 or FNCE 301 to apply. We will provide guidance to all students.

All applications are almost developed. They need to either be integrated into one whole application or add additional features and tools to them. The project is composed of several phases. This phase is focusing on changing the interface to be based on ReactJs. We will provide guidance to all students.

Positions available: 5 We would like to invite a team of students to work on integrating an application into a website that hosts several educational tools. The application is a financial accounting simulation game, where a student plays the role of an accountant. The application is already done, but it needs to be integrated into the main database of the other applications that are already developed. Students will be required to work with a team who is working on the other applications. They are going to be mentored by experts and lots of support is going to be offered to them. This is the second phase of the project. At this stage, students are to work on the student's side and integrate it into the student's dashboard and grade book. Students' should be able to access and play the game and their marks would go to their grade book. They should be able to see the correction of their mistakes.

Positions available: 4 We would like to invite a team of students to Design a web-based application that creates datasets for professors and students. We are working on developing an application to allow instructors to create datasets that are used in teaching business analytics. The instructors can generate datasets, link them to queries, and they can assign the assignments to specific sections indicating the start and end date. They can update the assignments as well. The application is expected to self-correct the students' submissions and display the marks, student's answers and the correct answer to both the students and the instructors. It is expected that we will need a registration process for both the student, the instructor and an administrator. We will need to design all of the application's screens, logo and make them ready for developers to use.

The project is composed of several phases. This is project is composed of several educational tools. We are working on developing an application to allow instructors to create different types of questions, create versions of each question, and save them in a test bank. Instructors can create courses, sections, and assignments. They can assign the assignments to specific sections indicating the start and end date. They can update the assignments as well. The application is expected to self-correct the students' submissions and display the marks, student's answers and the correct answer to both the students and the instructors. It is expected that we will need a registration process for both the student, the instructor and an administrator. In this phase we will be focusing on completing the marking process for the different types of questions, completing the student's and the administrator's interface. Students should: Have good experience in React, MongoDB, and Meteor Js. Good understanding of Docker. Be ready to work in a team. Ability to work in a team, prepare documentation and be good at communication. Will be required to sign an Intellectual Property Rights Agreement. Ready to present previous work that they have done. The application allows instructors to create a query to be applied on a data set. I need the team to provide a model for building queries that allow the instructor to build whatever query they want. The team has to understand that the instructor can use the data set that they want (which is unknown to us), so they have to think of a way to allow the model to be flexible as possible to allow the instructors to build the query that they want for their selected database. I have attached several alternatives of an open source code that could provide an insight of what I'm looking for. I will be working with the team explaining the concept in detail and brainstorming ideas with them.

I am working on developing web-based educational tools and electronic publishing web site. The educational tools are unique including a self-correcting Excel application, Self correcting questions, educational games, an application for generating data sets, and publishing tools that transfers any pdf file into an interactive Wiki style e-material. I need the team to provide and think of the possible data that could be generated in a data set by an instructor and to think backward to create the different variables and constraints in generating it. They should be also reviewing and exploring the different types of data sets that could be used in data analytic, accounting, finance, and other university-level courses. The team should also be thinking of the possible queries that an instructor would need to apply to the generated data set. I will be working with the team explaining the concept in detail and brainstorming ideas with them.
