Details

English Islands is revamping the design of its AI-powered literacy platform. In this project, students will help design & create games that help students learn how to read. No coding skills are required, but experience in UI/UX design, computer science and Figma prototyping would be a strong background for working on this project.

Instead of building games with code, students will use our proprietary no-code design studio to design and create animated literacy games for kids! You can learn more here.

If interested in applying, please include a cover letter briefly outlining any relevant experience and why you're excited about this project.

We're working to solve the literacy crisis in North America, where up to 2 out of 3 children are below grade reading level. To support students both inside and outside the classroom, we built an AI-powered literacy tutor that teaches and assesses like a real teacher!
