This project provides students with hands-on experience in product development within the sustainable home goods industry. Participants will gain insight into the end-to-end candle-making process, from formulation to packaging, while also exploring ways to improve efficiency in small-scale production. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to develop and test new scent combinations, contributing to product innovation.

Students will complete the following:

• New Product Development: Research and develop a new candle scent combination, documenting the process and rationale behind the selection.
• Production Efficiency Analysis: Identify and suggest improvements for streamlining the candle-making and packaging process.
• Hands-on Candle Creation: Gain practical experience by crafting candles using sustainable methods.
• Content Creation: Develop engaging behind-the-scenes content to showcase the process on social media.
