Participants will gain insight into the end-to-end candle-making process, from formulation to packaging, while also exploring ways to improve efficiency in small-scale production. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to develop and test new scent combinations, contributing to product innovation.
Students will complete the following:
- New Product Development: Research and develop a new candle scent combination, documenting the process and rationale behind the selection.
- Production Efficiency Analysis: Identify and suggest improvements for streamlining the candle-making and packaging process.
- Hands-on Candle Creation: Gain practical experience by crafting candles using sustainable methods.
- Content Creation: Develop engaging behind-the-scenes content to showcase the process on social media.
Providing specialized, in-depth knowledge and general industry insights for a comprehensive understanding.
Sharing knowledge in specific technical skills, techniques, methodologies required for the project.
Direct involvement in project tasks, offering guidance, and demonstrating techniques.
Scheduled check-ins to discuss progress, address challenges, and provide feedback.
