Details

The goal of this project is to develop a mobile APP for an eCommerce platform used by farmers to reach consumers directly while shortening the delivery timelines from farm to table. The platform helps farmers reduce cost of their produce by eliminating the middle man and lower delivery costs. The platform will predict market demand, and enhance customer engagement through personalized recommendations. This project provides an opportunity for learners to apply their knowledge of JavaScript, NodeJS and other similar programming languages in a real-world context. The project will involve working in a project team including back end (fullstack) developers and UI/UX designers. The scope of the platform offers the learners the opportunity to work to create demand forecasting solutions, integrating payment systems, and logistics solutions.

Deliverables

The learners will work alongside professional and experienced developers and will:


  1. create a mobile APP for order processing
  2. work in a project team
  3. prepare and maintain documentation
  4. prepare testing plan for User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
