This project provides students with the opportunity to work as Software Developers for Wouessi’s fintech solutions.

Participants will gain hands-on experience in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, and deploying fintech applications. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to create a seamless and impactful product.

Deliverables

Project Goals:

  1. Design and Develop:
  • Design and develop a fintech application, feature, or solution aligned with Wouessi’s business and market needs.
  • Collaborate with the UX/UI team to ensure a user-friendly and efficient interface.
  1. Collaborate and Communicate:
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the project meets business objectives.
  • Act as a key technical contributor, helping to solve problems and ensure that technical milestones are met.
  1. Testing and Deployment:
  • Conduct thorough testing to ensure the product functions smoothly, is secure, and is scalable.
  • Support the deployment and integration of the fintech solution into existing systems or platforms.

Outcomes:

  • Students will gain experience in software development, applying coding skills in real-world fintech projects.
  • Understand the challenges of working on fintech products, including integration with third-party services, data security, and scalability.
  • Gain exposure to agile software development methodologies and working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Deliverables:

  1. Technical Documentation:
  • Detailed project documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and API documentation.
  1. Working Application/Feature:
  • A fully functional fintech application or feature, ready for testing and deployment.
  • Codebase with proper version control (e.g., GitHub or Bitbucket).
  1. Testing Reports:
  • Reports summarizing the testing process, including bug tracking, test cases, and issue resolutions.
  1. Final Presentation:
  • A presentation showcasing the software’s functionality, technical design, challenges faced, and solutions implemented.
