chatbot behavioral pattern data analysis researchThe Feminine Intelligence Agency (FIA) is an innovation lab that builds tools to prevent manipulation, coercive control, and relational abuse. We focus on scalable, tech-enabled solutions that help people improve their social discernment — the ability to spot subtle red flags in relationships before they escalate.
This project investigates how wearable health technology can be used to detect early signs of distress in high-pressure or coercive relationships. By identifying measurable biological responses (e.g., heart rate variability, skin conductance), we hope to understand which biomarkers are most useful for real-time detection of emotional harm.
Deliverables:
1. Literature Review
- Survey peer-reviewed research on:
- Acute stress biomarkers (e.g., cortisol, HRV, GSR)
- Sympathetic vs. parasympathetic nervous system activation
- Biological responses to hierarchical stress, dominance threat, or social exclusion
- Focus on early-stage, subclinical stress – before chronic effects like PTSD or immune dysregulation emerge
2. Wearable Sensor Matrix
- Build a comparison table of commercial or medical-grade wearables that track relevant physiological signals
- For each device, note:
- Biomarkers measured
- Underlying technology (PPG, EDA sensor, cortisol patch, etc.)
- Accuracy, sampling rate, reliability
- Cost and availability for consumer or research use
3. Final Report
- Present a matrix cross-comparing biological markers vs. device capabilities
- Recommend 1–2 core biomarkers for early-stage social stress detection of emotional abuse
- Recommend a wearable device setup (or combination) suitable for real-time research
- Optional: Propose a simple experiment FIA could run (e.g., track HRV during stressful conversations)
