Ridar Systems has developed a cloud-based mobile solution which allows two-wheelers (motorcycles & bicycles) to be part of the connected car conversation.

Ridar utilizes existing hardware (smartphone) as well as existing infrastructure (3G/4G/5G) to optimize the locations of both driver & rider.

When a driver and rider are approaching the same geographic location, Ridar Systems'​ robust predictive algorithm notifies the driver when the rider is ~5 seconds from their predicted path of travel.
From the rider-side of this equation, there is no UX/HMI to distract them--all visible data can be seen after a ride is completed. This data includes number of miles ridden, total time ridden and, most importantly, how many times this rider has been detected by a driver.

As motorcycle & bicycle enthusiasts, we at Ridar Systems understand the dangers sharing a road with much larger vehicles and the fact that we are not always visible to those drivers.
