We are looking to gain a better understanding of the ecosystem that exists within our space to ensure we are positioning ourselves in the right segment, offering adequate support, and creating the best value for youth. We're essentially looking to do an ecosystem analysis on what's already out there for nonprofits and youth social impact organizations in Canada, and internationally even.

To accomplish this, you could focus on providing:

  • A complete analysis of our current offerings, our target market, and the positioning of our brand.
  • Conducting empirical interviews and/or questionnaires for feedback on our brand, product, service, etc.
  • Executing further market research to develop a comprehensive report of our target market.

We hope to gain a comprehensive understanding of our target market and how we can better satisfy their needs. We're aiming to answer a few questions for ourselves such as whether or not to adopt a fellowship program at YIC, and more.

Deliverables

The final deliverables should take the form of:

  • A presentation on findings
  • A report that can be used for future reference
Mentorship

Students will connect directly with the employer for support throughout the project.
