Welcome to Wouessi Digital! We are thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for talented students to contribute to our innovative project, Employee Management System (HR Application) Enhancement. 

Main Goal: 

• The primary objective of this project is to accelerate the development and enhancement of our Employee Management System (HR Application). Students will contribute to refining and extending functionalities, such as payroll management, employee timesheets, leave tracking, and onboarding workflows. We aim to improve operational efficiency, optimize the user experience, and ensure the scalability of the system. This project is designed to be manageable within a realistic timeframe of 60 hours, spread over 2-8 weeks. 

Project Scope and Expectations: 

During this project, students will focus on extending and improving the following key features of the Employee Management System: 

1. Enhancing Employee Management: 
2. Improve the UI and add advanced features such as search filters and better employee data organization. 
3. Collaborate with the team to integrate employee records with other HR modules. 
4. Optimizing Payroll Management: 
5. Work on automating payroll calculations, deductions, taxes, and reporting. 
6. Integrate payroll with timesheet and leave data for seamless pay processing. 
7. Leave Management and Employee Timesheets: 
8. Develop enhanced leave request workflows with manager approvals. 
9. Extend timesheet features to include detailed task logging and integration with payroll. 

Expected Outcomes:

Students will be expected to submit the following deliverables upon completion of the project: 

Enhanced Employee Management System: 

• Working code for updated employee records management with improved UI/UX. 
• Documentation on the enhancements and new features. 

Payroll Management Automation: 

• Fully functional payroll module with automated salary calculations, deductions, and tax reporting. 
• Test cases and results validating payroll calculations. 

Leave Management & Timesheet Features: 

• Optimized leave management system with real-time tracking and manager approvals. 
• Timesheet module with task logging and integration with payroll.
